Throughout making the drama i furthered my knowledge of using three particular programmes:
InDesign, Photoshop and Soundtrack Pro
In the radio suite we recorded our drama onto a programme onto Soundtrack Pro, this was a programme i had never used before. IT was quite easy to use to record the drama, we could easily listen over what we had recorded and found it easy to record over bits that went wrong etc. When the drama was recorded we could then cut out bits of the drama which were not needed, this was done by using the blade tool. We could then add sound effects onto our drama.
Then in Photoshop I opened the photograph I took, I then fiddled around with the different effects that can be added onto the picture, i decided to use the grain effect. This made the picture look more distorted. I then created multiple layers onto the picture and on these layers i put on a layer of blood, I then made the blood transparent so you could still the picture beneath.
I used InDesign quite a lot during this project. I firstly used it for my advertisement, for this I could change the different type faces and colours using the palette etc. Then when I created my double page spread i used pretty much the same tools but just added a lot more lines and text boxes to fit in with the traditional aspects of a radio listings magazine.
